I love math and cryptography. I also love working with people and meeting them where they are at. I am still trying to find ways to make my work and research informed by problems actively experienced by marginalized groups. As a first step in that direction, I'm about to start a PhD at CMU advised by Sarah Scheffler!
During a majority of my time in San Francsico, I was a Court Appointed Special Advocate, where I worked closely with a youth in the dependency system, and got to become a part of his life. A lot of how I feel about what it means to trust each other, and how I can bring that into my work, is shaped by my times with him.
Previously, I had the privilege of getting to TA MIT's introductory algorithms course (formerly 6.006, now 6.1210). Being a TA was one of my favorite things in the world. You can find my teaching notes here!
Sometimes, I like to dump my thoughts in this blog.
